You just knew when the Raiders and Chargers game was announced Week one that sparks would fly between the fans.
The below video seems to suggest this might be fellow fan-on-fan violence between Raiders supporters.
In the concourse area of SoFi Stadium, a massive brawl broke out that saw a Raiders fan getting pounded and knocked out by what appears to be a fan of the same team.
On top of that, a woman who was involved in the fight got punched in the face and knocked down.
It was a frustrating afternoon all around for Raiders fans, as their team fell short in their comeback bid against the Chargers.
New wide receiver Davante Adams gave fans something to get excited about with 10 receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown. But his college buddy, Derek Carr, struggled nightly, completing 22 of his 37 attempts for 295 yards, two touchdowns, and a costly three interceptions. He was also sacked five times, and fumbled twice — although the Raiders recovered both of them.
Carr and company will look to bounce back and give their fans something the cheer about when they host the Arizona Cardinals in week 2.
