
Ebanie Bridges has seen better days.
The Australian boxer not only lost her bantamweight championship bout Saturday night, she was also left disfigured with a brutal black eye. After 10 rounds of being pounded by British fighter Shannon Courtenay — Bridges could be seen walking out of the ring with her left eye massively swollen.
New York Giants beat writer Colm McGuigan shared a recent video of Bridges of her attempting to open her eye with no luck.

“I couldn’t see for the last three rounds,” she told iFL TV, the Mirror said. “But I was like, ‘please don’t ask me if I can see, because I’m not f—ing quitting. I don’t quit.’ “
“Hats off to Shannon, she can punch, she can fight,” she said. “It was a great fight for me. First fight in the UK and I’ll be back.”
Ebanie Bridges suffered her first defeat (5-1, 2 KOs) after judges scored the bout 97-94, 98-92, 98-92.
