Jean-Claude Van Damme is facing serious allegations in Romania.
The Belgian martial artist and actor is accused of engaging in sexual relations with multiple women despite knowing they were part of human trafficking.
A criminal complaint has been filed with the Romanian Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT).
The complaint states that the 64-year-old actor engaged sexually with five women who were trafficked by a criminal organization led by Morel Bolea.
As per reports from TMZ, Bolea is a Romanian businessman and modeling agency owner.
However, the allegations involve incidents that reportedly occurred in Cannes during an event organized by Van Damme. Bolea presented the five women to Jean-Claude Van Damme as a “gift.”

Romanian Directorate Will Need Authorization From France In Jean-Claude Van Damme Case

Jean-Claude Van Damme has been famous for his roles in classics like Bloodsport and Kickboxer. However, he will see his fate in check while investigations proceed.
While he is now facing serious criminal charges in Romania, the DIICOT has initiated criminal investigation and subsequent legal proceedings against him. It will require authorization from France’s High Court of Cassation, since the alleged acts took place in Cannes.
This case is part of a broader investigation that commenced in 2020 into human trafficking and the trafficking of minors by the Romanian authorities.
Only time will tell what’s there for the famous actor’s coming future.
