President Donald Trump has new flags.
Trump paid the cost to place two flagpoles at the White House and raised two flags late Wednesday morning.
“It is my great honor to announce that I will be putting up two beautiful flagpoles on both sides of the White House, North and South lawns,” Trump said on Tuesday in a Truth Social post.
“It is a gift from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place,” Trump added.
Trump told reporters that the two poles, one on the North Lawn and one on the South Lawn, will cost about $50,000 each to complete.
Donald Trump oversaw the installation of two 30.5-meter-high flagpoles on the White House’s lawns on Wednesday.
Once it was complete, the White House’s official X account released a 20-second video showcasing how glorious the flags are.
