
We have seen many legends come and go, but Michael Madsen is one of those people who has the entire country reeling from his tragic demise.
Madsen, best known for his roles in Quentin Tarantino’s films “Reservoir Dogs,” “Kill Bill: Vol. 2,” “The Hateful Eight,” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” passed away this week.
He reportedly suffered cardiac arrest at his Malibu home and was pronounced dead at the scene. He was only 67.
The actor is said to have been found “unresponsive” by law enforcement at his home in Los Angeles.
Months before his death, Michael Madsen, who had been struggling with his son Hudson’s tragic suicide, was also dealing with a bitter fallout with his wife, DeAnna, that led to his arrest.
In a career spanning over 40 years on television and film, he had over 340 credits.
For sports fans, Madsen is best remembered from his role as Don “The Matador” Everest in the original TV series Tilt from 2005.

In September 2024, Madsen filed for divorce from his wife, DeAnna Madsen, per People. He is survived by his sons, Christian Madsen, Max Madsen, Calvin Madsen, and Luke Madsen.
Michael Madsen’s Last Instagram Post Was Uploaded Months Before His Death

Michael Madsen has died at the age of 67.
The actor, best known for his roles in films like Free Willy and Reservoir Dogs, last posted on Instagram in March.
“I am the new face of @doncapa_cigars Thank you to @hollywoodtimesmag for this magazine cover,” Madsen captioned the post.
He was wearing a red collared shirt and blue jeans as he held on to a cigar. He also had a cowboy hat on as he looked off to the side.
At the time the post was uploaded, Madsen received some congratulatory messages from fans.
In the time since, fans have used the comments section of the post to send messages of rest in peace.
