Duck Dynasty Star Phil Robertson has sadly passed away.
Robertson’s family confirmed his death via multiple social media posts on Sunday, having previously disclosed his Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
He was 79.
“My dad has gone to be with the Lord today! He will be missed but we know he is in good hands, and our family is good because God is very good! We will see him again!” his son, Jase Robertson, shared in a post on X.

“We celebrate today that our father, husband, and grandfather, Phil Robertson, is now with the Lord,” son Willie Robertson and his wife Korie Robertson wrote as part of a joint Instagram post.
“Thank you for the love and prayers of so many whose lives have been impacted by his life,” they added, “We know so many of you love him and have been impacted by his life. We’re having a private service for now, but we’ll share details soon about a public celebration of his life.”

Phil Robertson Struggled During The Last Few Months Of His Life
Phil Robertson’s family revealed his diagnosis in early December, with Jase noting that his father was in the early stages in an episode of the ‘Unashamed with the Robertson Family’ podcast.
The situation sounded pretty grim, as Jase noted that the disease had accelerated and was causing problems with his father’s entire body.
“He’s just not doing well. He’s really struggling,” he said.
Jase also opened up on his dad’s condition in early April, saying that the family was doing their best to make him comfortable.
Given the news of his passing, TPS would like to offer condolences to Phil Robertson’s family as they go through this difficult time.
