Hours after the 2022 World Series of Poker main event champion was crowned, complete chaos rained down on Las Vegas as thousands of people thought another active shooter was causing havoc.
Players could be seen underneath tables and chips flying as people went into survival mode, but in the end, it turns out it was a false alarm.
Out on the strip, people could be seen running for their lives.
The entire thing was caused because one guy through a rock at a window at MGM Grand. Photos shared on social media showed security outside the front valet entrance of the MGM. A shattered door could be seen, as well as several large rocks on the ground.
Addressing reporters at the scene, Las Vegas police Capt. Brandon Clarkson said the person believed to have broken the glass door was detained on suspicion of destruction of property, KSNV reported.
