FOX Sports is reportedly facing a big decision regarding Joy Taylor.
Taylor has been with the network since 2016 and has become one of the most popular sports analysts on TV. However, she isn’t guaranteed another deal, with her current one expiring in the summer, and has seemingly sought to boost her social media presence with recent podcast appearances in which she’s delivered some wild takes.
The 38-year-old has been the subject of much controversy over the past several months, having been named in a lawsuit that paints quite a terrible picture. Taylor was accused of insulting former FS1 hairstylist Noushin Faraji, who also claimed she was involved in relationships with on-air colleague Emmanuel Acho and former executive Charlie Dixon.
While Taylor has never addressed the suit, a spokeswoman claimed the accusations were “devoid of merit and appear to have been strategically framed to create unwarranted publicity.”
Taylor also took heat this week for criticizing Aaron Rodgers’ decision to skip Steelers’ OTAs despite his not signing with the team and being a free agent.
Joy Taylor Could Be Done With FOX Sports This Summer
According to Michael McCarthy of Front Office Sports, Taylor’s contract with FOX Sports is up in the summer, and the company has a massive decision to make.

“There are several ways this high-profile talent negotiation could play out. On one hand, FS1 could cut Taylor loose after recently splitting with executive vice president Charlie Dixon,” McCarthy notes.
He added that, “On the other hand, Fox could sign Taylor to a contract extension, allowing her to continue leading Speak with Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce, which airs weekdays at 5 p.m. ET.”
It’s really a wait-and-see-type situation, but should FOX decide to let Taylor walk and hit the open market, speculation over their reasons will be rife, given the contents of said lawsuit and the backlash that has stemmed from it.
