The Hawk Tuah girl, Haliey Welch, has an answer for those who questioned her about the cryptocurrency scandal.
Recently, a video went out claiming to be a leaked episode of her podcast Talk Tuah. It featured Welch along with FaZe Clan founder Banks.
The Hawk Tuah sensation said that it was not only the investors in general who had lost their life savings on her $Hawk token. According to Welch, her boyfriend, Kelby Blackwell, a.k.a Pookie, also suffered significant financial loss due to her cryptocurrency venture.
“Pookie lost money too. He said, ‘How you going to take my money’? He still gives me s**t all the time, he says, ‘I wish I had my $300 back,’” she said.

Following her rise to fame from a viral interview where she revealed her fantasies, Welch launched a meme coin called $Hawk.
Unfortunately, shortly after its launch, the cryptocurrency experienced a catastrophic drop in value, losing 90 percent within hours. And in no time, it led to a total decline from a market cap of $490 million to just $41 million.

While Hailey Welch has come clean on her stance over the ugly Crypto scandal, fans are still not at peace for losing significant money.
A long legal proceeding went off, and they labeled her clean and didn’t find any wrongdoing.
With that being said, Welch said she miscalculated her steps. The guy who gave her the idea of launching a digital token sold her dream of changing “the way everybody thinks of crypto.”
“I want to start by saying thank you to all my true fans and all the people that actually watch my stuff and they keep up with me. We’re trying to sort out all the pieces and stuff to, like, get all this figured out and make everything right,” she later said.

“Well, so basically how this idea got brought to me, it was supposed to be, they call it a long-term coin. And the guy that ran the account, he was like, ‘Oh, we’re gonna change, like, the way everybody thinks of crypto,’” Welch added.
She explained that her initial vision for the cryptocurrency was promising. But it diverged from her expectations, ultimately resulting in substantial losses for many.
Additionally, she stated her intent to donate proceeds from the podcast episode to help support animals affected by recent fires. She’s giving it back from the big chunk she made.
