
Authorities have released chilling images of Vance Boelter, the suspect in the assassination of Minnesota lawmaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark, wearing a latex mask before he committed one of his shooting sprees on Saturday morning.
Mark and Rep. Melissa Hortman were assassinated at their home in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, in the early hours of Saturday morning. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at their home just after 3:30 a.m., and the suspect (posing as a cop) shot at them before fleeing the scene.
About 90 minutes before they were murdered, Minnesota Sen. John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were shot at their home. The couple was rushed into surgery and is recovering from their wounds.

Boelter, 57, is a white male listed at 6-foot-1 and weighs 220 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. Authorities are asking the public not to approach Boelter if they see him and to call their local law enforcement if they spot him.

Melissa Hortman Was In The Minnesota House of Representatives Since 2005

Mark and Melissa had two children together. She served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from January 4, 2005, until her assassination.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said the assassination of Mark and Melissa Hortman was “politically motivated,” and praised her as a “great leader” who served the state “with grace compassion, and tirelessness.”
