Insta-famous Aussie twins Elisha and Renee Herbert have captured the attention in America.
The Herberts joined the long list of models starring in Sports Illustrated’s 2025 Swimsuit issue.
The Herbert sisters made their debut as SI rookies, almost 50 years since the last pair of twins was featured in the publication.
Swedish sisters Yvette and Yvonne Sylvander, who posed for the January 1976 SI cover, were the first and last twins to appear in a Sports Illustrated issue.
The iconic magazine issue has unveiled several notable models over the past couple of months, including Olivia Dunne, Hailey Van Lith, and Gabby Thomas.
Now, Elisha and Renee Herbert are next up.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue shared some sizzling photos from the photoshoot.
“Rookie(s) Reveal: Two names you know, two faces you won’t forget,” SI Swimsuit announced.
The first video of the twins showed one of them dragging the other on a sled.
The second picture featured Elisha and Renee Herbert styled in white bikinis by sustainable swimwear brand Jade Swim. Elisha wore the Reiss top and Lana bottom, and Renee wore the Paloma top and Cami bottom, per Yahoo.
The third post was a video of the girls speaking and posing in different outfits.

It’s been nearly 50 years since a pair of twins graced the pages of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, so the iconic magazine decided to end that streak and add Elisha and Renee Herbert to the fold.
The Australian sisters made their debut in the 2025 issue.
They are not new faces.
Renee has more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram, while Elisha has more than 1.4 million.
