President Donald Trump sent social media into a frenzy by committing an embarrassing gaffe on live television at the 51st G7 Summit on Monday.
Donald Trump is one of several world leaders at the G7 Summit in Kananaskis, Alberta, Canada. The summit is being chaired by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, who took office on March 14 after replacing Justin Trudeau.
Other world leaders at the 51st G7 Summit include United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, French President Emmanuel Macron, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
According to the Associated Press, Trump and Starmer announced on Monday that they agreed to a significant trade deal. The U.S. will reduce its tariffs on U.K. cars, and the United Kingdom will reduce tariffs on beef and ethanol.
Speaking to reporters about the agreement, however, Donald Trump committed a hilarious blunder by accidentally dropping documents for the trade deal:

“Pathetic. Trump can’t carry papers without chaos — but you want him carrying the future of the free world? What’s next, a sippy cup in the Situation Room?” a user asked.

If Donald Trump’s little mishap looked familiar, perhaps you’re thinking of the iconic intro of the iconic ’90s “Goosebumps” series, where a person playing author R.L. Stine sees the papers from his briefcase fly out and into the wind:

By defeating Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election, Trump became the second U.S. president to serve non-consecutive terms. The feat was previously only held by Grover Cleveland, who held office from 1885 to 1889 and 1893 to 1897.
