Two planes crashed in the U.S. over Easter weekend, killing multiple people. The country has experienced several tragedies through plane crashes alone over the last few months, and the incidents continue to pile up.
The most deadly of this year’s aviation mishaps occurred in late January, when a commercial airline collided with a military helicopter and they both went down in the icy Potomac River. 67 people were killed.
While there haven’t been any commercial clashes since then, smaller planes have gone down in various locations, while a helicopter recently plunged into the Hudson River, killing all five people on board after breaking apart in the air.
