Pokemon is one of the most influential franchises of its generation, and it has expanded through numerous generations to become one of the most played games of all time. Of course, everyone knows and loves the face of the brand, Pikachu.
However, someone may have gone too far with their love of the franchise. Recently, massive revolts have occurred in Istanbul, Turkey, after numerous people have taken issue with recent political movements in the country, namely the arrest of the mayor of Istanbul.
As of the writing of this article, the protests in Turkey have led to over 1,400 arrests, and it seems one Pokemon fan does not care at all about the seriousness of the protests that are currently going on.
Pikachu Spotted In Turkish Protests

Clearly, not everything is going well in Turkey right now. However, it is hopeful to see one person having a little bit of fun with what’s happening. It may be illegal, but hopefully, it can send some sort of message.
