Tomi Lahren has been ‘fearless’ throughout her public speech. Be it her political opinions, standing against a policy, or just trashing a trillion-dollar sportswear company.
The conservative political commentator has recently caught strays with none other than Nike itself.
As per recent reports, Nike has allegedly funded a study on youth transgender athletes.
Soon after the news went out, Lahren didn’t hesitate to call the Oregon-based company ‘a mess.’
“Nike’s a mess. And, if all of this is true about funding these trans studies, this is worse than [partnering with Colin] Kaepernick. This is worse than the Bud Light debacle; this is the worst thing we’ve seen for a company… in my lifetime,” she said.

However, she went on a lengthy rant over the brand’s alleged strategies to test the possible ‘transition’ of young athletes.

“I hope people understand what these allegations are in this [study] funding. It means that they are essentially testing young boys, and seeing if they transition them, if they use puberty-blockers and other hormone therapies, if they can essentially debilitate young male athletes to the point where they won’t have an advantage over female athletes,” Lahren added.

Nike Remains Silent Despite Tomi Lahren’s Open Disgust With The Brand

While the news only came into the public eye after some of the publications started talking about it, Tomi Lahren didn’t mince words.
“This is going to have lasting implications in these young people’s lives and all for what? To try to normalize the trans-athlete conversation and try to excuse or legitimize boys competing against girls? That’s really what these studies are going towards,” she further continued.
In addition to Tomi, OutKick, one of the news publishing firms, reached out to Nike for any official comments. Although, despite trying more than a dozen times, the brand handed them some vague comments on the said matter.
I'm still stunned by this. @Nike is funding a study that disfigures young boys to understand if they can be physically impaired enough to compete with girls without significant "retained male advantage".

According to the website, Nike stated the study “was never initialized” and “is not moving forward.”
Additionally, Lahren has since called out Nike to be honest about whatever experiments they are doing.
“Nike needs to be honest. If they really do believe in this research, they need to be really honest and forthright about why they believe it,” Lahren said. “Tell your consumer, tell your customer, because nothing about this is okay,” she added.
Though it would be a test of time for Nike, given the state’s strict steps towards banning trans athletes from competing in women’s sports.
