AB Hernandez knows there are thousands, if not millions, of people against him, but he doesn’t care.
Hernandez’s participation in girls’ sports has given way to fans protesting against the transgender athlete.
The 16-year-old athlete became the center of attention at last week’s California Track and Field Championships in Clovis.
Hernandez won CIF titles in the girls’ long jump and triple jump at the Southern Section finals. AB Hernandez, who was born a male, jumped 19′ 3.5″ while the “second” place jumper, Kaylee Best, a female, jumped 19′ .75.”
The teen, who was born a biological male, found himself with many actively protesting at meets and online since Hernandez was participating against biological females.
Hernandez is now speaking out and hitting back at the critics.
“It’s definitely crazy, I get a lot of hate comments, but I’m like, ‘I don’t care,'” Hernandez told KCRA.

“[I’m a] 16-year-old girl with a mad attitude. You think I’m going to care?”
The student-athlete also found people who were continually protesting the high school events to be weird for their behavior.
“It’s just weird at this point,” AB Hernandez said.

AB Hernandez should be jailed for violating girls like this. He’s nothing but a mediocre man who can’t win in a fair competition so he has to cheat.
Sounds like a typical Democrat politician. pic.twitter.com/GcixXg8V2x
One Female Competitor Gets Celebrated Following AB Hernandez’s Victory

AB Hernandez was at the center of storylines during the past few weeks of the CIF Southern Section high school track and field postseason.
Standing in first place a few weeks ago, the junior trans athlete of Jurupa Valley posed with competitors to take pictures on the podium.
Once he stepped off, Reese Hogan, who is 16, didn’t let coming in second to a male-born transgender competitor prevent her from standing in the top spot on the podium.
The crowd wildly cheered for Reese Hogan, who they thought was the rightful winner since she was born female.
