A teenager swimming at Cabarita Beach in New South Wales, Australia, found himself in a dangerous situation as he was stalked and attacked by a shark before a surfer stepped in to save his life.
Dramatic video captured the terrifying moment when the cartilaginous fish raced toward land behind a 16-year-old boy whom it had severely mauled off a popular crowded beach in Australia.
The teen was attacked by the predator at Cabarita Beach in Bogangar, New South Wales, on Sunday.
One man could not sit idly by and watch that teenager possibly lose his life. The man punched the shark head-on, a method of self-defense against sharks that experts recommend.
Others stepped in to help bring the boy to shore on a surfboard, with the beast following close behind them.
