The U.S. military carried out sweeping strikes with B-2 stealth bombers against Iranian nuclear facilities, President Donald Trump said over the weekend.
It marked a major escalation for his administration, putting the United States directly into a conflict with no clear outcome or end in sight.
The president said in a social media post that U.S. warplanes had carried out a “very successful attack” on three sites.
“A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow,” Trump said. “All planes are safely on the way home.”
We are now seeing just how that happened.
This week, Pentagon officials released shocking footage showing the Stealth Bombers before and after executing Operation Midnight Hammer.
The video, released by the US, shows the advanced jets leaving the aircraft hanger at the airbase and taking off at 12:01 am. The footage then cuts to the bombers returning to base in the morning hours after striking the Iranian nuclear sites.

Former B-2 Stealth Bomber Pilot Speaks Out

The Pentagon released footage of the Stealth bombers involved in the US’s ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’ against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The bombers flew for 37 hours nonstop while striking the nuclear facilities in Iran’s Fordow, Isfahan, and Natanz.
“Everything worked perfectly,” Retired Gen. Robert Spalding, a former B-2 pilot and senior director at the National Security Council, told ABC News.
He added that the operation required more than a decade of preparation, including extensive work on weapons systems and planning.
“There’s a strict schedule of sleep and diet before and during the flight to keep pilots alert during critical moments,” Spalding said.
