The White House has released photos from inside the Situation Room moments before the United States launched a military strike against Iran on Saturday, showing Donald Trump and various other officials ahead of the crucial undertaking.
Saturday’s operation, called Midnight Hammer, saw B-2 stealth bombers and precision-guided bunker-buster bombs hit three targets in Iran, taking out nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
It also marked the first time the 30,000-pound GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator was put to use in combat.
The strike came about as a result of Iran knocking back efforts to negotiate over their nuclear program, with Trump claiming that his objective was to “obliterate” Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
As noted above, the White House has revealed photos from inside the room where the major decisions were made via its official X account, which you can see right below:

Donald Trump Insists There’s No War With Iran

Donald Trump has also urged Iran to seek peace in the aftermath of the strike, warning that they will be subject to further military action if they attempt retaliation or refuse to agree to a peaceful dissolution of the conflict with Israel.
Despite Saturday’s actions, America insists they are not at war with Iran, claiming that its decisions were centered on the country’s nuclear inclinations.
They remain on high alert and ready to engage as 40,000 troops prepare for possible retaliation.
