
A male individual was found dead on a popular golf course in Texas this week. The man, identified as Kade Weaver, was only 40 years old.
According to reports, Weaver’s body was discovered in a water hazard at The Golf Club at Fossil Creek in Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday.
With police having identified him, an investigation is now underway.
“Officers were dispatched to the 3400 block of Clubgate Drive at The Golf Club at Fossil Creek about 6 a.m,” the Star-Telegram reports. “When officers arrived, they found the man in the water hazard, police said.
The publication notes that the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine what caused Weaver’s death and the manner in which he died.

This is hardly the first concerning incident to take place at a golf club in recent months. Last November, a 65-year-old man named Brian Hiltebitel was beaten to death with his own golf clubs at Sandhill Crane Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida.

His alleged killer, Junior Boucher, 36, is said to have randomly attacked him, striking him repeatedly and chasing him into a pond, where the vicious assault continued.
Another recent golf club incident involves a small airplane forced to make an emergency landing at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles on May 2.
The plane had taken off for Santa Monica, but mechanical issues prompted the pilot to land on the course while folks were playing.
Thankfully, no one was injured.
