Golf fans are losing their minds over a viral video of Bryson DeChambeau hitting a moonshot with his driver on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Bryson DeChambeau got to visit the legendary racetrack on the weekend, before the 2025 Indianapolis Motor Speedway event on Sunday. Wanting to take advantage of the rare opportunity to step foot on the speedway, DeChambeau decided to put his renowned driving (golf, that is), to the test.
On social media, DeChambeau shared a video of him launching a missile with his driver on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, one that he claims went 500 yards:

“Well they should have had a Indy car drive buy at His 195 ball speed so the ball would be sucked along in the draft then it would be say a 20 mile drive as long as the car kept going lol 😝 🤪,” another quipped.

The 31-year-old Bryson DeChambeau fared well at the first two PGA major tournaments of 2025, finishing in a tie for fifth place at the Masters (seven-under), four shots behind eventual winner Rory McIlroy. He was also tied for second at the 2025 PGA Championship at six-under, five shots behind champion Scottie Scheffler.
Bryson DeChambeau Aims For Third U.S. Open Victory

DeChambeau will get a chance to make up for his close calls at the Masters and PGA Championship in two weeks, with the Oakmont Country Club hosting the 2025 U.S. Open from June 12 to 15.
“The Scientist” won the U.S. Open in 2020 and 2024, defeating Rory McIlroy (five-under) by just one shot (six-under) in last year’s tournament. Only six male golfers have won the U.S. Open three or more times, so we’ll see if DeChambeau adds his name to the exclusive club.
