PGA golfers and fans are used to seeing all sorts of wild animal-related things on the course, but what we saw during the Texas Children’s Houston Open was really another form of bizarre.
It’s not uncommon to see alligators hanging around on the course and getting perilously close to golfers when they approach their balls. And the odd time, you’ll even see a bird go after a player’s ball.
But during the final round of the Houston Open today, we saw something that will be shown on golf reels for years to come. A turtle was standing on the green as Canadian golfer Taylor Pendrith prepared to putt, so his caddy took it upon himself to safely remove the turtle from the area.
But right after the caddy picked up the turtle, the creature released an entire lake’s worth of urinal (not really, but you get the joke):

And social media had all sorts of hysterical reactions to the bizarre turtle moment at the final round of the Houston Open.
“I had no idea a turtle could hold this much in…,” one fan said.

Well, at least the turtle didn’t pee on the green and potentially ruin a player’s line for a putt. But yeah, Pendrith should maybe give his caddy an extra tip for really having to earn their paycheck today.
