After Rory McIlroy and Erica Stoll reunited last year following a rocky period in their relationship, during which the Northern Irishman filed for divorce, many wanted to know what was going on with Amanda Balionis.
Balionis has covered all of golf’s major tournaments since 2011, but 2024 was different as rumors came out that she was romantically involved with Northern Irish golfer Rory McIlroy after his short split from wife Erica Stroll last year.
The rumors continued for weeks until US Weekly reported at the time that McIlroy and Balionis had just a “professional relationship.”
The 39-year-old presenter married former North Carolina and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Bryn Renner in 2022 but has been seen without her wedding ring. She has not spoken out about the state of her marriage.

During the 2025 Masters, Balionis interviewed Rory McIlroy with no issues.
