Charlie Woods just reminded the golf world that unpredictability runs in the family.
At 16, the son of Tiger Woods turned heads during a wild round at the AJGA Team Taylormade Invitational in Florida this week. His scorecard wasn’t just solid but electric, messy, and oddly poetic.
On Monday, Woods posted a two-under-par 70, but it was the path he took that set social media ablaze. He shot an even-par 36 on the front nine, but made just one par. His card featured five birdies, two bogeys and a triple bogey through nine holes.
The back nine? Just as chaotic. He started with back-to-back bogeys, then followed up with an eagle and two birdies. Two more pars, a birdie and one last bogey brought him home in 34. It was anything but boring.
Fans React To The Scorecard Ups And Downs

Golf fans online wasted no time diving into Woods’ round. Some were impressed, others amused, and many couldn’t help but draw comparisons.

Others shared stories of their own chaotic rounds, drawing a kind of camaraderie with the teen golfer. One fan recalled, “My 7 birdie 77 was a doozy back in the day.”

Also had a 9 birdie 63 in an AJGA with 2 three putts. True psycho
Despite a triple bogey on the third hole, Woods finished tied for 13th in a field of 71. Without that costly slip, he might’ve challenged for the top spot.
Charlie isn’t ready for Augusta just yet, but he’s not just playing the game, he’s making it interesting. Based on this week’s round, fans are watching closely.
