A popular golf analyst and former PGA professional has detailed the weakest part of Donald Trump’s game on the greens.
President Donald Trump is renowned for his love of golf, always making time for the sport during his two terms in the White House. Trump owns over a dozen golf courses worldwide, including Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, two in Scotland and one in Ireland.
Trump is also known for often hyping up his abilities on the greens, bragging about multiple tournament wins at the course in West Palm Beach. But what does an unbiased former golf pro and prominent analyst think of Trump’s game?
During an appearance on “The Skip Bayless Show”, former PGA player and current Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee detailed two issues he sees in Donald Trump’s game, putting and chipping:
“President Trump smokes it. Hits it on a line. He absolutely drives the eyes out of it. He’s not the best chipper, he’s not the best putter, but he drives the eyes out of it and hits a lot of great iron shots.”

Two years ago, a video went viral of Trump completely shanking a chip shot with the green right in front of him. You can’t read too much into one bad shot, but you also won’t see the best golfers in the world hitting shanks like that:

Legendary sportswriter Rick Reilly also published a book about Trump’s golf game titled, “Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump Book.” The book shared stories about how Trump cheats on the greens.
