There’s no stopping the gold legend John Daly’s living his life to the fullest.
The two-time major championships winner recently resonated the same charm he used to spread around himself wherever he goes.
Recently, Daly made a comment at his own expense while quipping at his health issues. During the latest interaction at The Galleri Classic, when the PGA champ got to see his rookie tour card from 1992, Daly had a joke to tell.
“I didn’t think I’d been out here for three decades. I’ve only been dead 11 times. I’m like Lazarus. I just keep coming back from the dead,” Daly said in the video.
A trip down memory lane.

After undergoing emergency surgery just two months ago, he made a fantastic comeback at the PGA Champions Tour’s Hoag Classic in sunny California. Returning to competitive golf has filled Daly with joy, and it’s been shining through last week at the Hoag Classic.
The 58-year-old admitted that his journey back wasn’t easy. He noted, “It’s been a little brutal.” It was fantastic to see him enjoying the game alongside NFL stars like Justin Herbert and Eric Dickerson, who joined him in the pro-am.

“It was scary. I was peeing blood, pukin’ blood. … I thought my back was killing me, and I didn’t know. And I went in Little Rock, got a checkup and everything on my back and then, was it a neurologist? Doctor saw it and said, ‘You gotta come back,’” he said.
Yet, the fire in him remains unshaken as he stays focused on his passion for the Champions Tour.
