Scottie Scheffler made quite the bag last month, having won THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, the PGA Championship, and the Memorial Tournament.
The World No. 1 also had a T4 finish in the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial, marking an incredibly profitable month, and even his caddie is living large as a result.
According to the Daily Mail, Scheffler made $9.63 million in May. His caddie, Ted Scott, came close to a million himself, given that the golfer pays the industry standard of 10 percent.
Scott received $963,000, which means he made more than lots of actual golfers and is among the 90 highest-paid individuals of the PGA Tour season.
The club assistant earned more money last month than five of the top-10 golfers on the PGA Tour’s money list, which includes Rory McIlroy, Russell Henley, Colin Morikawa, Andrew Novak, and Ludvig Aberg. This is especially telling as McIlroy played in two events.
Scheffler’s caddie also made more bank than other notable players who aren’t in the top 10, including Hideki Matsuyama and Justin Rose.

If Scott had been a golfer, he would have been 90th on the earnings list, just behind the likes of Sam Ryder, Joel Dahmen, Max Homa, and Sahith Theegala.
Scott has actually made north of $1 million in 2025. With Scottie Scheffler earning a total of $13.9 million this year, he’s said to have made roughly $1.397 million, which would move him to the 71st spot on said list.
Of note, Scheffler made more from winning the Memorial than he did from winning the PGA Championship.
He’s now preparing for the U.S. Open, which offers another huge payday, given that he will not be at the RBC Canadian Open. The Traveler’s Championship at TPC River Highlands, which boasts a $20 million purse, also follows.
Ted Scott will probably be his biggest fan.
