Justin Bieber has sent social media into a frenzy after sharing a video of himself golfing at one of California’s most luxurious golf courses, and it has nothing to do with his swing.
As everyone knows, most golf courses have a dress code that players must follow if they wish to play. Standard golf dress code for men includes a collared shirt (also known as a polo shirt) and golf pants (similar to dress pants).
The 31-year-old Justin Bieber shared a video of himself swinging the driver on a tricky hole at the Madison Country Club Golf Course in La Quinta, California. As you can see, the world-famous music star was wearing anything but standard golf attire.
Justin Bieber dressed like somebody who was hitting the gym, not the greens, with a white tank top and baggy white pants:
Interestingly, there’s nothing on the course’s website about a dress code. So even though some people are losing their minds (you can do a quick X/Twitter search), it appears Bieber didn’t violate any dress code rules here.
Does this help or hurt the case that golf needs dress codes?

Golf.com’s Claire Rogers recently discovered that Bieber carries a 10.2 handicap in golf, too, so he’s a pretty darn good player.

Perhaps Adam Sandler’s 1996 blockbuster comedy film, Happy Gilmore, caused some folks to believe that anything goes regarding golf attire on luxurious courses. In that movie, Sandler’s character wore casual clothing, even a Boston Bruins’ NHL jersey with baggy pants.
Justin Bieber Is Quite The Hockey Player, Too

Aside from golfing and making award-winning music, Bieber is also a high-level ice hockey player. He played the sport as a kid and has participated in several NHL-related events, including the 2017 celebrity All-Star Game.
In February, Bieber competed in a charity ice hockey game to raise funds for the victims of the Los Angeles Wildfires. The game also included Steve Carell and Hockey Hall of Famers Mark Messier, Jeremy Roenick and Rob Blake.
