Wyndham Clark has some explaining to do.
Clark’s frustration about missing the cut in the 2025 U.S. Open reportedly spilled into the locker room this week.
Clark, the 2023 U.S. Open champion, was among many who couldn’t figure out Oakmont, as he shot back-to-back 74s to finish 8-over to miss the cut.
He wasn’t the only big name as Bryson DeChambeau, the defending champion, missed the cut after a 10-over finish. And then there was Phil Mickelson, who quietly exited after posting 8-over.
But while disappointment was widespread, no one allegedly took their frustration out on Oakmont’s locker room—except Wyndham Clark.
According to Fox News, Wyndham Clark, who won the tournament in 2023, missed the cut this year and reportedly took out his frustration in the locker room.
One alleged photo of the damage made its way around social media, as two bottom portions of lockers were completely caved in.

Tron Carter of the “No Laying Up” podcast confirmed the incident, posting on X:
“Multiple sources confirming that the Blow Pig really got after it in the Oakmont locker room. Super classy, desecrating one of the most historic spots in golf AND on the heels of his behavior at Quail Hollow. Probably time to put him in the cooler for a few months.”

The U.S. Open took place from June 12 to June 15 at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania, which is known for having some of the toughest golf conditions.
The weather did not make things any better.
Wyndham Clark Remains Quiet

Wyndham Clark may have anger issues.
On Sunday afternoon, GOLF.com confirmed a report from Tron Carter of No Laying Up that Clark, the 2023 U.S. Open winner, had bashed in two lockers at Oakmont.
Clark bogeyed the final hole of his second round to miss the cut in the 2025 U.S. Open by one shot.
The news marks the second time in consecutive majors that Clark has let his anger come out.
Last month, the 31-year-old smashed a T-Mobile sign in anger on the 16th hole in the final round of the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow.
He spoke out about that incident but has remained quiet about this current one.
