Sports fans are mind-blown over the insanely low concession prices at the 2025 Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia.
Everyone knows how ridiculously overpriced food and drinks are at professional sporting events. At some venues, the price of a single beer costs more than getting a 12-pack at Walmart.
But with the 2025 Masters tournament approaching, fans have once again been reminded of the generously cheap prices set at the Augusta National Golf Club. Claire Rogers of Golf.com posted a photo of the menu and concession prices at this year’s tournament.
Sandwiches only cost $1.50 to $3. Most snack items are below $2, with the Georgie peach ice cream sandwich the “priciest” on the menu at $3. Non-alcoholic beverages are only $2 apiece:

In 2019, sports economist and University of Georgia assistant professor Steve Salaga told FOX Business that Augusta keeps concession prices low to “appeal” to the fans. Salaga noted the giant costs for Masters tickets, travel, souvenirs and parking.
The NFL’s Atlanta Falcons have received widespread praise for having cheap food and drink prices, too. And then you have teams that are charging $15-plus for a beer and $20 or more for a single meal.
