The first update of the 2025 PRO SPIRIT MLB All-Star Ballot is here. Everybody’s favourite from the National League, the Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani, is leading with 1,398,771 votes.
He’s putting on quite a show, just like his American League counterpart, Aaron Judge. The Yankees superstar is leading the AL with 1,568,527 votes.
If they maintain their leads until Phase 1 voting ends on June 26, they will secure automatic starting spots for their respective leagues in the MLB All-Star Game, which will take place on July 15 at Truist Park in Atlanta.
Fans can vote up to five times every 24 hours on MLB’s official website, MLB.com, as well as on all 30 MLB club sites and the MLB app. Judge is notably more than 525,000 votes ahead of the next closest AL player, Cal Raleigh, while Ohtani remains in contention for the overall lead.
The top two vote-getters at each position and the top six outfielders will advance to Phase 2 of the voting, starting June 30.
However, let’s have a look at players who are leading with votes in their respective positions in the NL:
