The Yankees captain finally opened up on Soto visiting the Bronx, and he gave the perfect response. Judge and Soto have developed a strong friendship in just one year. They were considered one of the best offensive duos in the league. Aaron Judge addressed how Yankee fans would feel when Soto returns.
“It’s definitely personal for the fans and they can have their opinion, and we’ll kind of keep it at that because Soto is a good friend of mine. We built a great relationship when he was here, so I’m always wishing him nothing for the best,” Judge said.
“I think Soto made that decision for what he thought was best for him and his family, so nobody can really say anything about that besides him,” Aaron Judge continued via NJ.com.
The captain has always respected Soto’s decision to join the Mets right from the start. While he also mentioned it’s hard to replace Soto, Judge has been supportive.
