Bobby Miller is coming off an unforgettable moment on the first day of spring training with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Miller took the mound for the Boys in Blue against the Chicago Cubs. In the top of the third inning, Miller took a 106 mph comebacker from Michael Busch, dropping him to the ground.
Miller was unable to stay in the game. It was indeed a scary moment for Miller, but thankfully, it was not too serious. The Dodgers lost the first game of spring training, surrendering 12 runs to the Cubs and scoring only three in return.

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out. Really means a lot. Scary moment I’m good! All praise to the man above🙏 can’t wait to get back on the mound,” Miller wrote on X.

Bobby Miller Exits The Field Angrily
Miller was upset after getting hit by the ball. Max Muncy shared an update after the game, saying that Miller had walked off angrily. While Muncy said that Miller seemed okay, he looked pissed after the incident.
“They asked him where he was at, and he got pissed about the curveball coming back at him. He made a comment about that and everyone was like ‘Ok, he’s fine. He knows where he’s at,” Muncy said via Clutch Points.
There is no timeline for Bobby Miller’s return at present. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts says the pitcher is currently in concussion protocol. Miller will have some playing time in the 2025 season, but he’s not going to be a part of the team’s six-man rotation. Miller is aware that he needs to to earn his spot among elite pitchers.
