Boston Red Sox fans had every reason to be excited for Game 3 as they got the chance to heckle the Astros, cheer on their teams, and chant things at Alex Rodriguez.
The former MLB star was just sitting down ready to speak on Game 3 of the American League Championship Series when he was met with a bunch of Red Sox fans who had heckling messages for him.
They reminded him that he used to go out with Jennifer Lopez and that she left him for Ben Affleck.
“She left you with Ben Affleck!”
One guy yelled out, “Hey, A-Rod, what’s your favorite Ben Affleck movie?!”
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, who got engaged in March 2019, broke up earlier this year after months of speculation.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” Rodriguez and Lopez said in a statement to the Today show at the time. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
The breakup came after rumors of A-Rod and Southern Charm star Madison LeCroy, who revealed in January that she’d been FaceTiming A-Rod and told Page Six that despite their flirty convos, he “never physically cheated on his fiancée with me.” Rodriguez told Us Weekly that he had “never met” LeCroy.
Lopez was later spotted reconnecting with her ex-fiancé Ben Affleck in late April. LeCroy is now engaged and A-Rod is being taunted by Red Sox fans.
