A pair of small kids got wiped out by Nolan Arenado while observing the action from some choice seats on Sunday.
Arenado’s St. Louis Cardinals were playing the New York Mets when the star third baseman made an incredible catch that saw him crash into the family.
The eight-time All-Star got a ball in his sights during Juan Soto’s at-bat in the eighth inning and tracked it down close to the barricade to get his hand to it. Despite the protective netting, the momentum took him over and into the family.
The situation was pretty concerning as a toddler was involved, but it appeared everyone was okay after the brief shock. The player also made sure no one was hurt after getting back to his feet, handing the ball to the family for their trouble.

“A diversion, to conceal the lack of people occupying the rest of those seats. where are they? arent the Cardinals playing the Mets? Isn’t it baseball?” someone wondered.

In any case, it was a day the family will never forget, except for the toddler. She’s probably already forgotten about it by now.
That Was Hardly All From Nolan Arenado

The Cardinals played out to a 5-4 win over New York, making a sweep of their doubleheader to take their record to 16-19 for the season.
Nolan Arenado made another sensational play during the win, preventing the Mets from going up 7-4 by setting Victor Scott II up for an acrobatic catch off yet another hit from Soto.

The loss has to sting if you’re Soto, but it will be extra memorable for the Cardinals fans who got squashed.
