
Tarik Skubal’s recent Instagram story took many fans by surprise. The reigning Cy Young Award winner has launched a search party to find a special fan. Skubal shared a story on Instagram asking fans to help him to find one person.
Skubal had a stellar outing against the Milwaukee Brewers, where he pitched seven shutout innings. He had zero walks and recorded nine strikeouts. During the game, a fan in the stands held up a sign while imitating the southpaw’s pitching stance.
The fan wrote, “Hey Tarik! LEFTY POWER!”
The image held by the fan showed Tarik Skubal and another image of a pitcher imitating Skubal’s pitching stance. While the fan seems highly inspired by Skubal, the Tigers ace took to social media to ask his followers to help find the fan.
“Need some help finding out who this is so I can get a little package to this fan,” Skubal wrote in his story.

Skubal is keen on finding the fan to probably give him a couple of goodies. The Tigers ace was impressed with what he saw at the Brewers game, and he hopes he’ll be able to locate the fan.

Tarik Skubal Is Off To A Strong Start For The Detroit Tigers

Skubal is off to a strong start for the Detroit Tigers as the southpaw continues to dominate. Skubal recorded 25 strikeouts and 23.2 innings pitched. He holds a spectacular 1.01 WHIP with a strong 2.66 ERA and a 2-2 record.
The Tigers are on top of the AL Central division with a 10-8 record. Detroit is ahead of the Cleveland Guardians, and Skubal’s success has helped them win crucial games. Skubal has a competitive mindset, and he cares about winning.
“I care about every inning. Care about every inning getting zeros and getting our team back in ready to hit. I try not to let the score impact who I am. I’m pitching every game as if it’s 0-0,” Tarik Skubal said via MLB.
