The Los Angeles Dodgers have finished visiting the White House and are back to playing baseball. As part of a longstanding tradition, the team celebrated its 2024 World Series championship with U.S. President Donald Trump.
It’s a great opportunity for players to tour the Oval Office. Freddie Freeman was unable to visit due to his injury. The rest of the team got the opportunity to meet the President and talk about their iconic win. Dave Roberts and his squad had an unforgettable time. However, one Dodgers star revealed no desire to speak with Donald Trump.
The team’s favorite Kike Hernandez shed light on his experience in visiting the White House in a recent video. While Hernandez spoke in Spanish, the translation says he was not keen on speaking with the President.
“They made us sit on a couch for like three hours, then he told us to stand up they made us line up and we waited. The man spoke about his thing and we all left he would give us like the best access which was that you didn’t go to the one I feel eh I didn’t talk about this but it wasn’t that I was very interested in talking to him I went to play the championship last year I’m with my teammates there and to see the White House I didn’t go to meet anyone or have a conversation with anyone,” Hernandez said.

It was indeed an excellent ceremony for all players, but Hernandez just wanted to be there to avoid questions. Hernandez mentioned that simply going would be easier not to answer questions about why he wasn’t there.
