We have heard wild MLB stories, but this one from Dodgers fan favorite Kike Hernandez might top them all. And yes, it involves poop, playoffs, and an unforgettable strikeout.
During a recent sit-down on Kevin Hart’s Cold As Balls show, the Dodgers utility man casually dropped one of the funniest admissions in recent baseball memory. The 33-year-old revealed that he once pooped his pants during a postseason game. And it happened while he was batting. In the middle of a high-stakes playoff showdown. Against live pitching.
Kike Hernandez’s Quick Exit Saves The Day

That moment of horror came as Kike was set to hit, while serving as the designated hitter. He was hyped from a teammate’s big strikeout and celebrated a bit too hard in the dugout. Then things got messy. Literally.
“I go up to hit, three pitches, I strike out. I have never been happier to strike out in my life,” Hernandez said, laughing through the story.
Only Kike could turn a moment like that into something hilarious and weirdly heroic. The man took an L at the plate just to get off the field and save himself from embarrassment.

Despite the humorous mishap, Hernández has been a solid contributor for the Dodgers this season. Through 100 at-bats, he has posted a .220 batting average with seven home runs and 16 RBIs, maintaining a .745 OPS.
The Dodgers, meanwhile, are leading the NL West with a 31–19 record. Despite their injury woes, their offense, led by Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts, has the team poised for another deep postseason run.
