ESPN MLB insider Jeff Passan has sent social media into a frenzy following a hilarious exchange with a troll on X/Twitter.
On Sunday, the Colorado Rockies’ historically horrible start worsened with a 5-3 loss to the New York Mets. The defeat dropped Colorado to 9-50 on the season, making them the first MLB team in the modern era to lose 50 contests before winning 10.
After the Rockies lost, Jeff Passan posted a simple tweet about the club falling to 9-5. Things quickly turned sideways from there, however, with a troll baiting Passan into a non-MLB conversation.
The Rockies are now 9-50.
