Eugenio Suarez had a night to remember.
The Arizona Diamondbacks’ star third baseman hit four home runs in a single game for his team, and it became a historic moment.
This incredible accomplishment is only the 39th of its kind in MLB history, and it certainly left an impression on fans everywhere.
During the game against the Atlanta Braves, Suarez lit up the field and the scoreboard, starting with a stunning 418-foot home run in the second inning. He followed that up with two more impressive shots in the fourth and sixth innings.
Additionally, he even sent one flying 443 feet into the stands. His final homer in the ninth inning was the icing on the cake. However, Bob Nightengale of USA TODAY recently tweeted about another special moment for the Venezuelan baseballer.
“Eugenio Suarez says the bat he used for his historic 4-homer night is now being shipped off to the Hall of Fame,” he tweeted.

Eugenio Suarez Became The 19th MLB Player With 4 Home Runs In A Game

Eugenio Suarez of the Arizona Diamondbacks made history on Saturday night by becoming only the 19th player in MLB history to hit four home runs in a single game.
The 33-year-old’s performance included solo home runs in the second, sixth, and ninth innings, plus a two-run homer in the fourth.
This feat places Suarez among baseball legends such as Willie Mays, Lou Gehrig, and Mike Schmidt. Additionally, he is the first player to achieve this since J.D. Martinez in 2017 while also playing for the Diamondbacks.

Suarez, who exchanged a signed hat, jersey, and ball for the ball from his fourth homer, expressed mixed emotions following the game.
He began the day with a struggling batting average of .167 and only six home runs for the season. After his historic game, he is now leading the MLB in home runs for the current season.
