Los Angeles Angels Superstar Mike Trout is back in form and keen on having an injury-free season. Trout’s early exit last season brought him to tears. Angeles fans were devastated after he was set to undergo surgery.
The Angels are trying to make the playoffs after a decade-long drought. Without Trout, it’s safe to say that they will have a tough time in the race. The good news is that Trout is back, and he’s come back stronger. The 11-time All-Star has already crushed a deep home run in spring training.
Fans were off their feet and are eagerly anticipating a strong season for their favorite player. Former Yankees catcher Erik Kratz mentioned that Mike Trout puts haters back in place, and he’s set for a major return.
“I think you start to forget what kind of player he is. To see a homer this early puts people who are just kind of casual and like haters back in their place. Don’t forget he had an OPS plus of 140, I think, last year. So, you’re sitting there going this dude can still do it, How do we get a 160 out of him. Becasue when he’s out there, you don’t just fall into an MVP awards. I’m excited to see what he can do because he’s a Hall of Famer,” Kratz said.
Mike Trout Is Back To Reclaim His AL MVP
If Trout stays healthy, Aaron Judge will have a tough competition in winning the AL MVP title. Trout is undeniably one of the best players in the league. Without injuries, the slugger will be unstoppable. The Angels star is also one of the most respected players in the majors.
Trout is a four-time MVP, and he’s back to reclaim his title this season. However, as many fear, all this can happen only if he stays healthy. The Angels are planning on placing Mike Trout in right field. Experts think that it’s a wrong move and the slugger must be a designated hitter.
