Fernando Tatis Jr. isn’t afraid to speak his mind, and after one of the most chaotic games of the season, the Padres star delivered a message that’s got Dodgers fans fuming.
Before the series even began, Tatis took a shot at the atmosphere in Los Angeles, bluntly stating, “I just don’t like it,” when asked about playing at Dodger Stadium. The tension didn’t take long to boil over.
In a heated matchup on Thursday, Tatis was drilled on the hand by a 95-mph fastball, prompting cheers from the home crowd and a fiery response from the man himself.

Fernando Tatis Jr. Breaks Silence After Being Hit

After the incident, Fernando Tatis Jr. broke his silence on the Dodgers targeting him. The slugger said that one should know when “enough is enough.”
“To me, it wasn’t intentional at the moment. But, I mean, how many times have I been hit already? Everyone knows when enough is enough,” said Fernando, according to Annie Heilbrunn.

When asked about the home crowd’s reaction to him being hit, Fernando via Dodgers Nation said, “Everybody knows Dodgers fans… it’s part of the circus.”
The moment Tatis was hit, all hell broke loose. Padres manager Mike Shildt charged out to protect his player and confronted the umpires. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts rushed in and shoved Shildt in the process. Benches cleared, dugouts emptied, and emotions boiled over on both sides.
Later in the game, Padres reliever Robert Suarez fired back, hitting Shohei Ohtani in the back. The benches cleared again, and both managers were ejected. It became one of the most chaotic games of the season.
While the Padres went on to win 5-3, the game will be remembered more for the fireworks than the final score.
