It was a scary scene in Washington tonight as Nationals fans heard news of a shooting happening outside the arena.
After the initial shock has worn off, we now know four people were shot, D.C. Police said.
Two of the victims were transported to the hospital conscious and breathing. Another two walked into area hospitals “for treatment of gunshot wounds,” police said.
Padres players Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado were said have opened the gate and helped usher fans into the dugout during the chaos.
Much respect.
