The Dodgers’ rotation is taking yet another hit, and fans won’t be thrilled with the latest news. Two of the team’s biggest arms, Blake Snell and Tyler Glasnow, are still not in the clear.
Snell, who signed a massive five-year deal in the offseason, was supposed to begin throwing again during this road trip. But that plan’s been shelved for now. The left-hander is still feeling discomfort in his shoulder and will now see Dr. Neal ElAttrache on Monday. That’s the same shoulder that’s kept him off the mound since early April.

Glasnow, meanwhile, has just started playing catch after being placed on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation. But he is not out of the woods either. The righty is also scheduled to be examined by Dr. ElAttrache.
What it Means for the Dodgers’ Rotation

The Dodgers entered the season with high expectations, but the rotation has been anything but stable. Snell was posting an impressive 2.00 ERA in three starts. Glasnow, on the other hand, had shown flashes of dominance with a 3.72 ERA and 50 strikeouts in six games.
With both sidelined, the pressure has fallen squarely on Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who has been lights out, and a mix of Dustin May, Gavin Stone, and others. But beyond Yamamoto, consistency has been hard to find.

Losing both Snell and Glasnow for an extended period would be a major setback, especially as the Dodgers try to stay on top in a competitive NL West. Their bullpen has already seen plenty of action, and the lack of rotation depth could wear them down as the season rolls on.
For now, the team and its fans will hope Monday’s evaluations bring some good news. But as it stands, the Dodgers’ rotation is walking a very fine line.
