Max Muncy is having a great time with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The All-Star is having a slow start, but he’s picking up on the plate. The Dodgers had a strong rebound against the Philadelphia Phillies after a 3-1 final score. They failed to win the series opener but bounced back at Citizen’s Bank Park.
The Dodgers and the Padres are the only two teams to lose just one game this season. The Dodgers celebrated their World Series ring ceremony at Dodger Stadium last week. The franchise gave their players customized rings. It was during that time that Muncy’s hilarious reaction caught everyone.
When Anthony Banda was called to receive his first World Series ring, Max Muncy mentioned that the girls loved him. The entire Dodger Stadium echoed with a loud cheer as Banda walked up to collect his ring.
“Oh, the girls love him. The girls love Banda,” Muncy said while sitting in the dugout.
Muncy’s hilarious reaction went viral, and several fans agreed with his statement on Banda. Here’s a look at the video.

Muncy has not been a big fan of the Torpedo bat. The slugger was among the first Dodgers stars to try the new invention. Although Muncy got a hit or two, he’s ditched the idea and moved on to his previously used bat.
Muncy said his swings felt good but were loose, and he’s not used to weight distribution.
“Starting with that bat, it felt good, swing felt good, but after the Dylan Lee at-bat, I felt like the bat was causing me to be a little bit off-putting, a little bit in and out of the zone because my swings felt really, really good tonight, but maybe just a bit off. It was the last at-bat I just decided to back to my regular at-bat. Fortunately, I did not throw it,” Max Muncy said via AOL.com.
Muncy is slashing .200/ .273/ .573. In 30 at-bats, the All-Star slugger has just two RBIs and six hits. Now that he’s back to his previous bat, Max Muncy seems to be getting back in the game. The Dodgers are on a great run, but Freddie Freeman has yet to return from the IL.
