Lindor vs. Betts: Who’s Really Leading The NL Shortstop Conversation?

Among the top names, Lindor’s overall production stands out. In 280 at-bats, Lindor batted .279 with 14 home runs, 38 RBIs, 13 stolen bases, and a strong .828 OPS. Those figures mark a career-best first half in New York. Meanwhile, the Mets lead the NL East at 45-27, and Lindor remains central to their success.
Betts, who moved to shortstop this year, had started solidly at the plate for the Dodgers but has struggled to get going in recent games. The 32-year-old slugger managed only one home run in his last nine outings and is averaging .266.
