Mike Trout and his teammates are not happy with how the Los Angeles Angels have been managing things recently. Trout loves playing for his team, he never accepted to be traded even though he had the chance, but even the All-Star slugger spoke out on the team’s schedule.
The Angels are scheduled to play the Pittsburgh Pirates in their final game at Angel Stadium. While they finish the series, the team must immediately travel to Minnesota to face off against the Twins. The entire squad must travel overnight from Anaheim to Minneapolis to open a three-game series against the Twins.
Sadly, the team will not have much time for rest before the series as they will play the Twins at 6:29 PM PDT. Mike Trout and his teammates will reach Minnesota in the early parts of the morning and will play around 4:40 PM PDT. The Angels management failed to organize the timing and players expressed their frustration.
“It’s not ideal for sure, I don’t know when we’re supposed to land, but it’s going to be early. And we’ve got to play that night. And the worst part about it is, the next day is a day game,” Mike Trout said via The Athletic.
“I don’t think it should be allowed, to be honest… Because it’s kind of crazy,” Taylor Ward chimed in.
“I don’t think it’s healthy for anybody… It’s definitely not fair,” added Kenley Jansen.

Usually, teams have enough time to rest overnight when playing road games. However, in this situation, the Angels will not have much time as they need to get on the field early.
Mike Trout Desperately Looks To Compete In The Playoffs

It’s been a decade since the Angels star has made a playoff appearance. Trout is one of the best players in the league, but he’s yet to win a World Series title. The 11-time All-Star is desperate to compete in the playoffs this year.
Trout is already off to a strong start after crushing eight home runs. The Angels have dropped to fourth place in the AL West as the competition gets tougher. Trout will continue to play a crucial role for the team, and he hopes to stay healthy in 2025.
Mike Trout is poised to hit a home run today with the latest MLB home run prop bets for April 24.
