Despite showing a strong fight, the Bronx Bombers were no match. The Yanks made several mistakes, and Dominguez made a crucial blunder in the game. In the seventh inning, the Yanks were trailing 4-2 with runners on first and second. Dominguez was caught between bases after a strike by Trent Grisham.
The slugger froze, thinking that it was strike three. Red Sox catcher Carlos Narvaez never hesitated to pick him off at second. After the game, Jasson Dominguez admitted his mistake, saying that there were no excuses.

Jasson Dominguez Continues Mediocre Performance From The Plate
The team brought in Dominguez as one of their top sluggers, but he has fallen short as his mediocre performance continues. Even though he has improved defensively, he has hit only six home runs on offense.
