Jackson Holliday is not having the perfect season with the Baltimore Orioles. His debut didn’t go well either in 2024. Holliday was sent down to Triple-A after a struggling start. While he came up good during the last few games, he’s yet to create an impact with the team.
The slugger has to potential to hit home runs with ease. He’s been a top prospect and his ability to get on base is great. However, he might need sometime to open up and adjust to the big leagues. Holliday is undoubtedly a strong hitter, and how his brother is set to join the MLB.
Jackson Holliday’s brother, Ethan Holliday, remains the top prospect in the MLB draft rankings. Ethan is a left-handed hitter who can play both third base and shortstop. He attends Stillwater High School in Stillwater and is ready to showcase his talents. Yet, MLB fans took to social media to react to the news of Ethan joining the big leagues.

Jackson Holliday’s Struggle Continues For The Orioles

Holliday smashed two home runs this season. While he started out strong, his struggle is still continuing for the team. Holliday has nine RBIs and 20 hits this season. His numbers are not too bad, but for all the hype, there’s still room for improvement.
Holliday holds a .247 batting average with a .322 OBP and a .680 OPS. The O’s are currently dealing with several issues as the team struggles to perform offensively. Jackson Holliday will need to pick up the pace and help his team win.
The O’s are coming off a victory against the Yankees. The team had a bench-clearing incident after an argument between Heston Kjerstad and Pablo Reyes.
