The Pittsburgh Pirates were up against the Chicago Cubs when a bizarre incident took place. During the bottom of the seventh inning, Andrew McCutchen recorded an RBI double to help his team take the lead.
While Pittsburgh took a one-run lead against the Cubs (4-3), a fan from the stands appeared to jump and fall onto the warning track. It was horrifying footage to watch, and MB fans are doubting whether he fell down by accident or jumped off his seat. Here are some reactions from X.

“No way that was an accident. Nobody gets that excited over a baseball game in April for the Pirates to launch themselves over a protective wall. I still hope he’s alright,” one fan wrote.

Pirates Record A Huge Win Against The Chicago Cubs

Pittsburgh has struggled to make ends meet as they hold one of the worst records in the league. They are currently at the bottom of the NL Central division with a poor 12-19 record. Yet, they are coming off a big win against the Chicago Cubs.
The Cubs have been dominant in their division, but the Pirates managed to defeat them. After taking up a bad start in 2025, they still have plenty of room for improvement. The Pirates are ranked at No. 27 in the Week 5 MLB power rankings.
